10. Something God has taught you lately: In September 2008, my dad passed away from prostate cancer. My dad was my everything, I was definitely Daddy's girl. It was the hardest experience I have ever had to endure, and each day is tough. Although this has been the hardest time for me, God has blessed me in so many ways. He has given me and my family a strength that I know only He can provide. He has taught me what it truly means to PUT ALL MY TRUST IN HIM. I used to think that I gave things up to the Lord, but until my dad passed away and I could do nothing BUT give it all up to Him, did I really learn what it meant to "Let go and let God". God sends such peace when you allow Him, and I am so thankful to Him for guiding me through everyday. My dad would always tell me growing up, when i was stressed or had a lot to do, to take everything "One step at a time.." and i live my life everyday by that....because that is really all we can do!

11. Why are you going to Albania? I am going to Albania because when I saw the video, I felt God pulling at my heart and I knew that He wanted me to go, and I knew this was my chance to give back to Him everything that He has given and done for me, especially these past 8 months. I am so excited about being able to share the Truth with those that have not heard, and I know God has special blessings :)

11. Why are you going to Albania? To serve god, to reach people who may not have been able to hear the gospel otherwise, to obey.

Prayer Requests: That I have peace in my heart with Adrianna staying here while I go on the trip and leave her for 2 weeks. Whenever I think of leaving her it makes me cry. I know God is good and will be with her.

It is a battle of the mind at times to have faith when an impossible situation comes into your life, but God can do anything because He is almighty. I’ve also learned how important prayer is. It is a weapon against evil and a tool to praise and cry out to our Heavenly Father.

11. Why are you going to Albania? And my response is….WHY NOT! I love the Lord and I want to share it with others. God provided the financial funds. I’m going over not for myself, but to do the Lord’s work. I feel so blessed to be a child of God and it is my desire to help others learn that they can too become a child of God.

something God has taught you lately: that the church of God does not have a mission in the world, but that the God of mission has a church in the world! Also, he wants His people to live holy and peculiar lives so we stand out in the midst of this world.

why Albania? Well, primarily because God loves Albanians and wants them to have the same opportunity to hear like I have! Also because we have been interested in Albania for years and now a door has opened to go there, simple as that.

prayer requests: Wisdom to lead, humility to submit, a heart to pray, a heart to love, and above all that Christ would be glorified. Specifics: financial provision, team unity, safety, and...willingness to make sacrifices.

Hey everyone! This is the first post for the team, and really more of a prayer request. In the coming weeks we will post pics, etc for you to see and get to know us a little better. For now, please pray for some of the following concerns re: the team;

1) Preparation: 2 months until the trip! We have a lot to do. Pray that the dramas we will be performing there are well prepared and powerful to present the gospel. Pray that our VBS ministry will be ready to go and beneficial for the Albanian children. Pray that we are prepared culturally to build relationships and a foundation for more ministry to occur in Albania.

2) Finances: We are 2/3 of the way to our need. That last 1/3 is beginning to feel like a giant mountain, as we get closer and closer to payment deadlines. Please pray for God's provision, and that He would move some hearts to help the team out financially.

3) For team unity and cohesiveness. For love amongst our members.
